Born in Houston, Texas, Evan began his pursuit of art and entertainment by performing on stage in high school theater productions. He then moved to Austin to play music, while obtaining his degree in Advertising from the University of Texas. Learning the ins and outs of the music business while also honing his skills in marketing and showmanship, he rediscovered his love for acting. The acting bug became so strong that upon graduating from college, he dove into film and TV, snagging a lead role in a film for the Lifetime network, as well as guest-starring and supporting roles in Prison Break and several other features.
Then, in 2008, after testing for one of the leads in the hit TV show GLEE, he decided it was time to pack up and move to Los Angeles, the mecca of the entertainment industry. Once there, he landed new management and representation, and has since continued to work as an actor, as well as developed his solo music career. In addition, he founded “EG23,” a company that specializes in the production of video as well the development of recording artists. One of his goals with EG23 is to create opportunities for other actors and musicians, as well as to make lasting art that turns heads and inspires all.
